Every box we make is custom-built to your specs, so cancelling an order works a little differently than a standard retail purchase. Here's exactly how it works, in simple terms.

1. The Short Version

  • Cancel before production starts, and it's easy — a small fee may apply.
  • The further your order has progressed, the more limited (and costly) cancellation gets.
  • Once your order has entered production, materials and labor are already committed — cancellation fees will reflect that.
  • Once your order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.
  • If your order arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, that's not a cancellation issue — see our Refund Policy.

2. Why Custom Orders Are Different

Every order we produce is designed, proofed, and manufactured specifically for you — your artwork, your specs, your materials. We can't resell a custom box made for someone else's brand, so once work begins, cancellation gets more limited the further along your order is. Please read this policy before placing your order.

3. Cancellation by Stage

StageWhat's happeningCan you cancel?
1. Just placedOrder submitted, not yet reviewedYes — a small processing fee may apply.
2. Design/preparationOur team is preparing your files and proofsYes — a partial fee applies, covering design work completed
3. In productionPrinting or manufacturing has startedLimited — most materials and labor costs are already committed
4. ShippedYour order is on its way to youNo — see our Refund Policy if it arrives damaged

We'll always tell you the exact cancellation fee, based on where your order stands, before charging anything.

4. Design Fees

Design work — file setup, dielines, proofs, and any mockups prepared for your review — takes real time from our team. If you cancel after design work has begun, any amount already paid toward design is non-refundable, whether or not you move forward with production.

5. Cancellation Fees

If your order is still in an eligible stage, a cancellation fee may apply to cover the processing, design, and production work already completed. We'll confirm the exact amount with you before charging it — there are no surprise deductions.

6. Refunds on Approved Cancellations

Where a cancellation is approved and a refund is due:

  • The eligible amount is refunded to your original payment method within 10 to 14 business days.
  • Any design fees or cancellation fees already outlined will be deducted before the refund is issued.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

This policy covers cancellations only. If your order arrives with a printing defect, damage, or doesn't match your approved proof, that falls under our Refund Policy — report it within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right with a free reprint or refund.

8. How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel or ask about cancelling an order, reach out as soon as possible:

Cancellation requests are only confirmed once our team responds in writing. The earlier you reach out, the more options we usually have — so don't sit on it if your plans change.

9. Questions or Need Help?

We're a small, real team — not a wall of legal text. If anything here is unclear, ask.
